You’re listening to — La Di Da — from a new CD called Blender. It’s the latest release from the band The Murmurs.

Murmur is comprised of Heather Grody and Leisha Hailey. And as they tour the country promoting their new CD, they are also using the opportunity to raise awareness about an issue that hits very close to home for the duo — that of domestic violence. In 1993, Heather Grody’s mother was killed by her husband.

At each city on the tour, the Murmurs have invited a local domestic violence shelter (who are receiving a portion of the concerts proceeds) to be on hand at the concerts to meet with the audience and help raise awareness about the crime of domestic violence.

    Guests:

    • Heather Grody
    • Leisha Hailey
