Russ Feingold

Former U.S. senator from Wisconsin. Founder of Progressives United. He was just named one of the co-chairs of President Obama’s re-election campaign. During his 18 years in the Senate, he wrote the landmark campaign finance law, McCain-Feingold. He also opposed the war in Iraq and was the only senator to vote against the PATRIOT Act. His new book is called While America Sleeps: A Wake-Up Call for the Post-9/11 Era.
